UFE insists on climate efficiency in its answer to the Impact Assessment on the review of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED, 2021/27/EU)

The new EED must also adopt a more climate-efficiency centric approach to integrate provisions on the reduction of GHG emissions by encouraging the switch to low-carbon energies and set a new goal in terms of energy consumption and not only in terms of renovated area.
