7 décembre 2020 How can the revision of Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive and the European Green Deal foster the deployment of charging infrastructures ?
To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, electromobility appears to be a key means of action to decarbonise the transport sector. However, the existing framework regarding the electric fleet now seems outdated and needs revision. In this view, the revision of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive, expected in 2021, needs to speed-up the deployment of zero- and low-emission infrastructure for road, inland waterway and maritime transport.
The event will look to key questions for an ambitions AFID consistent with the Green Deal and carbon neutrality :
1. How can we ensure the effective deployment of charging infrastructure ?
2. How should the scope of the current AFID evolve and be extended to foster the diversification of the fleet, including infrastructure for HDVs ?
3. How should we accelerate and incentivise the deployment of low-carbon energy in transport ?
